So by now I figure that everyone knows that we got engaged on Dec 24th 2006 but does anyone really know how it all happened..lol..Well keep reading and I will fill you in!
You see a few weeks before the actual proposal I walked in to our room and al was using the computer to send an email or something and he told me I couldnt see it...This got me thinking and he said I would know soon!!!
Well it just so happened that I had been wanting a dog big time, and 2-3 times he kept coming home from work telling me about ppl giving away these really nice dogs...So I thought awwwww Als so sweet hes going to get me a dog for Christmas!!
On Christmas eve we went to some Good friends of mine for a visit..When we got home we went to bed, and When we got in to bed Al looked at me and he asked me if I loved him, I looked at him like he was retarded and told him of course I did, Then he asked me if i loved him enough to eat squid, ewwww I told him no lol, then he asked me if I loved him enough to put his slippers on his feet everyday, I laughed and said no..haha..Then he asked me If I loved him enough to make him a bologna sandwich everyday...I laughed again and said yeah I suppose...hehe...Then he asked me a few more "Do you love me enough to..." questions and when I was totally not expecting it....he said.....
Do you love me enough to make me the happiest man in the world....Will you marry me Amanda?
I paused cause I was in total shock.....And then I said Yes....The rest is history
After he asked me he opened the comp and showed me an email that he had sent telling a friend that he was planning on proposing...Thats why I couldnt see it before hand.
Guess I wasnt getting a Puppy Afterall.
We set a date for Sept 6th 2008...And the Wedding is going to take place in Newfoundland :)
